TSUK is recruiting a number of general assistants and mini-tennis assistants to help at three summer tournaments:

(1) The Esher Open Tournament, Surrey (Saturday 15th August)
(2) The Devonshire Park Open Tournament, Eastbourne Sports Park (Monday 17^th, Tuesday 18^th, Wednesday 19th August)
(3) The Surrey County Closed Tournament, Sutton Tennis Academy, Surrey (Sunday 23^rd to Sunday 30^th August) 

Mini-tennis assistants will provide on-court help in mini-red and mini-orange events including scoring, setting up courts and finding players.

General assistants' duties will include help with watering clay courts and generally helping the tournament organiser, referee & team of officials to help ensure that the competitions run smoothly.

Applications are welcome from candidates aged 16 or over with a knowledge of tennis. You must be physically fit, a good communicator, able to work as part of a team and available to work for a minimum of 4 hours a day. Shifts may be split into two sessions a day. Hours are likely to vary and you may be required to work at any time from 8:00am onwards although no evening work is anticipated.

Players who have successfully completed an LTA Competition Organiser's course will be given preferential consideration, although this is not a requirement.

Expenses allowance: £6.00 per hour. Payable in cash on completion of a time sheet/invoice which will be provided.
